教学内容：                                                             

阅读短文，完成短文下面的四个问题，并且能够运用比较级比较两个人或者两个事物。

教学目标：

1.能够读懂短文。

2.完成下面的四个问题。

3.掌握如何比较人和事物。

教学重点：

读懂短文，完成下面的问题；能够基本掌握形容词比积极的用法。

教学难点：

I like the yellow one . one 在这一篇短文中的涵义。以及句子I think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall.(我认为这只猴子只有40厘米高）The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.(这只猴子比你矮，但是你比它更有趣）

教学准备：录音机、磁带图片

教学过程：

Step1.Warm-up

1. Greetings.
2. Sing a chant to

（设计意图：这个chant包含了上两节课的主要内容，在这里跟录音机诵读也是一项复习，同时有节奏的chant可以很快吸引学生的注意力，让学生在短时间内做好上课的准备。）

3. Daily report.

 (设计意图：每天的值日生报告为学生的听说搭建了一个很好的平台，值日生通过语言的输出提高了自己的口语表达能力，其他的同学认真倾听，这是一个言语输入过程，并能队提出问题，解决问题，这又是一个有效的言语运用过程。)

4. Show a poster and ask students to say some sentences in pairs.（刘翔和潘长江海报）

（设计意图：提供给学生一张他们感兴趣的图片，从不同的角度发散学生的思维，让邻桌同学俩俩说句子，这样学生有目的来说，就更有的说、更愿意说。）

Step2.Presentation

1. Guessing game: It’s yellow. It can climb trees. It likes eating banbnas.

(设计意图：由谜语自然引入今天的主题阅读monkey.使学生的注意力、求知力能在老师的引领下一步一步深化。)

2. Ask students to read the dialogue with some questions.

Which monkey is taller?

Which monkey is stronger?

Which monkey is funnier?

How tall is the little monkey?

(设计意图：学生带着问题有目的性的来阅读短文，使自己的注意力更加集中，阅读更有实效性。)

3. Read the dialogue again and do the exercise on the text book.
4. Students read after the tape.

 (设计意图：这是一节阅读课，我们回归课本让学生模仿录音机地道的语音、语调来读课文，有利于培养学生良好的语感，增强学生学习英语的能力，为运用语言做积累。)

5. Read in pairs.

（设计意图：邻座俩俩进行朗读，养成良好的读英语、讲英语的习惯，从而敢于大胆开口说英语，提高实际运用语言的能力。）

Step3Consilidation.

1. Give some pictures and ask students to say.

          Look, my hands are……than your hands. My hair is……than your hair.

               The cat is bigger than the mouse,but the mouse is funnier than the cat.

(设计意图：学生俩俩一组就自己的身体部位及特征作比较互相说句子，然后从自身迁移到图片上的内容，或班级中其他同学来进行对比说。在真实具体的情境中，让学生说的更有效。)

2.Make up sentences.

1. stronger、Jack、than、is 、Tom
2. my hair 、than 、shorter 、is、Mary’s
3. taller、than 、me 、is 、my 、father

3.Read a paragraph and do some exercise.

Mary, Jane and May are very good friends. Mary is shorter than May, May is heavier than Jane. Jane is thinner than Mary. How old are they? Mary is 7 years old. Jane is 12 years old and May is 9 years old. They study at QingLan Primary School. Mary likes English, Jane likes math and May likes music.They all study hard.
