本课属于北师大版先锋英语五年级下册的第11单元第一课时，本单元的话题为制作蛋糕，主要学习食材词汇，初步学习相关动词。本节课包括听歌曲学习部分词汇，自读理解课文回答问题，两人对话并演示制作，最后输出环节两人合作创作出1份沙拉菜谱并展开对话。

1. 以语言运用为中心，借助现代信息技术，努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境，提供丰富的网络资源，倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式。

2. 倡导任务型教学，把语言综合运用能力的培养落实在教学过程中。

1、知识目标：

(1)通过本课学习，学生理解故事内容，感知语法和词汇的意义。

(2)听、读本单元关于蛋糕制作的食材词汇。

(3)初步感知、理解本单元功能句型：--What do they need? --They need…

(4)初步认读动词词汇: put,add,break,mix等。

2、能力目标：

(1)能够通过阅读故事的主要内容养成按意群阅读的习惯。

(2)培养学生认真观察，自主听读的学习能力和对知识的归纳能力。

(3)能对新旧知识进行有条理的输出，发散思维。

3、情感目标：

(1) 为了健康合理饮食，少吃高热量和高糖的食物。

(2) 通过学习文中制作蛋糕的整个过程，学生能明白西式甜点的制作方法。

(2) 观察图片从中获取信息进行描述，简单复述故事。

本班是五年级实验班学生。他们经过四年的听说训练，大部分学生能够自主学习听读网络资源。但仍有部分学生对资源中主要信息提取能力需要加强。他们能够积极参与、交流，语言输出有逻辑性。

教师创设英语学习环境和提供适当的资源，引导并指导学生自主学习，突出以教师为主导，学生为主体的理念。运用任务型教学：在学习故事前，教师提出与课文核心内容相关的问题，引导学生带着问题在自己的电脑上自主听读；在学习故事中，学生自读故事查找信息；这些都是是学生自主学习的一种体现。
