    Unit 5 Do you like pears?

    Part A( Let’s learn Let’s chant)


    教学目标

    知识与技能:

    1、能听、说、认读单词pear,apple,orange,banana.

    2、能听懂、会说句型Do you like___?Yes, I do /No,I don’t并应用于实际情景中。

    3、能听懂、会唱Let’s chant部分的歌谣,培养学生对认识更多水果的兴趣。

    过程与方法:

    1. 坚持听、说、指、读、认,坚持培养学生的学习情趣放在首位。

    2. 积极合作,生生、师生共同合作完成学习任务。

    情感态度:培养学生学以致用,积极说英语的能力,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,让学生在情景中学习与拓展视野,养成不挑食的好习惯。


    教学重点:“三会”单词pear,apple,orange,banana.

    句型:Do you like___?Yes, I do /No,I don’t

    教学难点:单词pear,apple,orange,banana.的准确发音

    在真实情境中运用句型Do you like___?Yes, I do /No,I don’t

    教学准备:课件、水果实物、单词鱼形卡片、水果图片(头饰)

    学生准备白纸、蜡笔、玩具熊

    教学过程

    Step1. Warm-up

    Greeting:

    T: Morning,boys and girls!Welcome back to English class!

    Ss: Hello!Miss Yu.

    T: First,Let’s enjoy a song about a kind of fruit Apple Tree.

    (Start the video)

    T: Do you enjoy it?What fruit do you see?

    S: Yes. I see apples.

    T:Super! Today we will learn some fruit in this class, get ready!

    Step2. Preview

    Show some riddles from the PPT

    1It is orange.Its name is the same as its colour.orange

    2It is yellow.It tastes nice and grows on the tree.pear

    3It is red and round.It grows on the tree.We eat it in autumn.apple

    4It is yellow.The monkey likes to eat it very much.banana

    Invite some students to guess and ask them to draw on their paper.

    Step3. Presentation

    1Free talk: Show a toy bear,put up the question:

    T:What’s this ?

    Ss:It’s a bear.

    T:Do you like toy bear?

    A girl: Yes.

    T: Now ,I change the letter b with letter p.Can you read it?

    Ss:It’s pear.

    TBingo! You are so smart!Do you like pears?

    (Write down the unit title: Do you like pears?)

    Ss:Yes./No.

    2Teach new words: appleorangepearbanana

    AShow a fruit basket and some fruit in it.

    TWhat’s this?

    Ss:It’s an apple

    T: Do you like apples?( A. Yes,I do.B.No,I don’t). You can choose one.

    Ss: ……

    T: What’s this?

    Ss: It’s a pear/banana/an orange.

    T: Do you like pears/bananas/oranges?

    S1:Yes, I do.

    S2:No, I don’t.

    S3:Yes, I do.

    BShow the word cards and pictures

    Write the new words with fingers in the air and stick the cards on the board.

    Read the new words from loud to low voice,read in groups , have a match.

    CGame:

    1Role play

    Invite four group leaders to role play four fruit:apple,orange,pear,banana.

    S1: Hi, I’m a pear.I’m yellow.I have many brothers and sisters.They are pears.Do you like pears?

    S2:HiI’m a banana.I’m yellow,I’m sweet.The monkeys like me.

    S3:Hi, I’m an apple, I’m red and round,Do you like apples?

    S4:Hi,I’m an orange.I’m orange,I taste good.Do you like oranges?

    Put up the fish cards with new words on the board, ask some Ss to pat the word and read it aloud in front.

    Step4. Consolidation

    1. Let’s chant

    Play the recording and follow it,explain the words “yummy”,”tummy”with body language.

    A:Honey,Let’s buy some fruit.Do you like___?

    B:Yes, I do./No,I don’t.I like______.

    What about you/What fruit do you like?Do you like_____?

    A:Yes, I do./No, I don’t.I like______.

    Watch the video, find more new fruits,such as strawberry,watermelon,lemon,pineapple,blackberry,mango,etc.

    Teach Ss to develop a good dieting habit.

    Step5.Homework

    1Make a report about your family’s dieting habit and present the report in class.

    2Preview the next period.
