A: Sure. Wang Xizhi is one of the greatest calligraphers in Eastern Jin dynasty in our country .

C: He was born in an academic family, He was talented.

D: He worked as a governor. Wang Xizhi loved writing when he was a child. It was said that when he was writing with a brush, no one could pull the brush out of his hand.

A: Why?

B: Because a stable holding brush posture is good for writing a nice calligraphy works.

C: He held the brush tightly.  

C: Many artists have their own hobbies, some love flowers, some love birds. Can you guess what Wang Xizhi’s hobby was?

A: Did he like drawing?

D: No, he didn’t. Wang Xizhi had a special hobby. He was interested in seeing, or buying the geese.

B: Interesting .

A: There are many things on the table. Can you tell me what these are?

B: This is writing brush.

C: There is some ink in the ink stone box.

D: There is penholder beside the ink stone box.

A: And I know, this is the calligraphy paper.

C: Yes. Papermaking is one of the Four Great Inventions of Ancient China.

A: Can you show us how to use those to write?

B: Of course. Firstly, we should sit with better posture when we're writing.

C: We dipped the ink on the brush.

D: And also holding the brush, just like that. (边说边写“書”)

A: Wow, amazing! What’s the meaning of this word?

C: It means calligraphy or book.
