Unit 6 Winter Vacation

1、学生能正确听说读本单元涉及到的寒假活动用语：

go to skating classes, go to ski， go to the library and read books, go shopping, buy toys, clothes and presents, play in the snow, make a snowman, learn to make dumplings, watch TV, watch a football match, play computer games, help my parents do some chores, do my homework, visit my grandparents, celebrate Spring Festival

2、熟练使用交际用语：

（2）拓展综合对话

A: Where are you going in your winter vacation?

1、正确听、说、读本课的新词汇。

2、熟练运用句型对话。

Step1: Warming up

Sing a song: Season song

师生齐唱歌曲并相应动作。

（设计意图：利用与本课教学内容相关的英语儿歌，使学生迅速融入到英语学习的氛围之中，并由此引出本课话题。）

Step2:

Free talk:

A: What’ your favourite season?

（设计意图：师生问答，利用谈论季节的对话，为下面的环节做铺垫。）

Step3:

新授自主听读活动短语

导入: My favourite season is winter. In winter, we have a long winter vacation. We can do many things. What can we do? Listen and read 1, 2, 3.

生听录音，感知并跟读活动短语。

（设计意图：学生通过听读活动初步感知寒假活动的短语，实现先学后教。）

Step4:

新授自主听读对话

导入：（ppt出示主线人物对话情境图）What do they do in winter vacation?

Listen and read dialogue 1, 2, 3.

生听录音，感知并跟读对话。

（设计意图：学生通过听读活动感知对话，在对话中再次学习并巩固有关寒假活动的短语。）

Step5: ppt

出示对话支架

A: What are you going to do in your winter vacation?

B: I’m going to… What about you?

A: I’m going to…

操练方式：运用转盘游戏师生示范对话，生生利用转盘操练对话，检测。

（设计意图：通过游戏练习对话，提高学习积极性。）

Step6:

拓展听读

ppt出示情境图Lily’s plan，引入听读内容，生听读dialogue4, 5, 6

（设计意图：为学生提供与本单元重点相符合的听读材料，拓宽知识面。实现对知识的拓展，巩固和提高，提高学生言语交际能力。）

Step 7:

综合对话

ppt出示key points，师生示范对话练习，巩固拓展内容。

T: Where are you going in your winter vacation?

S1: I’m going to go to Harbin.

T: What are you going to do?

S1: I’m going to play in the snow.

ppt出示国家领导人习近平与奥巴马交谈画面，创设情境，生生自由发挥创编对话。

（设计意图：创设接近生活的情景，实现对知识的巩固和拓展，提高学生言语交际能力。）

Step8:

介绍寒假计划

ppt展示老师的寒假计划表，生听录音描述：In my winter vacation, I’m going to go shopping, visit friends and celebrate Spring Festival.

生用提前做好的手工画小组内介绍自己的寒假计划。

（设计意图：用描述的形式提高学生写和说的能力。）
