A:I enjoy listening to poetry especially if the reader is an expressive reader.I close my eyes and it is like listening to music.

B:Really? I don’t like listening or reading to poetry.Poetry’s rubbish if you ask me.I would prefer a good pop song.

A:Then you really miss a lot.It takes you to another place in your mind,I like writing it too.I enjoy playing with words and sentences and lines.

B:I think it sounds silly.People just write anything as long as it sounds right.They don’t seem to care about the meaning.

A:I don’t understand you.Pop songs are poetry too.You cannot just write down whatever comes into your head.However you can experiment with words and see what you produce.That’s what I really enjoy.

B:That’s my experience when I put words to music.It’s nice to know that what I am doing is poetry….
