    Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1948.Though it,she has decided her life to helping the poor,the sick and the dying around the world,particular those in India.She founded the Kalighat Home for the Dying and a leper colony was established under her guidance.Her selfless work has brought  her many awards,including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
