Jim: Hi, Ed. What are you reading?

Ed: hi,Jim.A story called ”The Red Hair Club” .It’s a Sherlock Holmes detective(侦探) story.

Jim: It sounds boring. What ‘s it about?
Ed: Well, Mr Wilson has a red hair and works at o bookshop next to a bank. He thinks his job is too difficult, so his assistant introduces him to Mr Ross, Who runs the Red Hair Club. Mr Ross gives him a new job in his office. After eight days, Mr Wilson finds his office closed. Puzzled(困惑),he talk to Sherlock Holmes. That night, Sherlock Holmes goes to the bookshop,and discovers the bookshop assistant and Mr Ross robbing(抢劫)the bank next door through a hole in the bookshop wall.

Jim: Oh! So,the Red Club was just a way to get rid of (摆脱) Mr Wilson whilethe bookshop assistant and Mr Ross planned the robbery.

Ed: Exactly.

Jim: That is interesting.
