Martha: Do you have any particular hobbies, John?
John: Ah, yes. I love playing badminton, squash（壁球）, bridge（桥牌）, and computer games. And playing the computer games has become my favorite.
Martha: I hear many teenagers will spend hours and hours sitting at computers. And they don't care about（担心） their own health at all. How about you? Are you an Internet worm（网虫）?
John: I'm no better than them. It's so addictive(上瘾) I never doing anything else at home these days. My mother says it's mindless（没头脑的） to sit in front of a machine all the time, but I think it's stimulating（有刺激性的）.
Martha: You won't play on-line games full of violence（充满暴力的在线游戏）, will you?
John: Once in a while.
Martha: It's no good. And I think spending several hours each day playing computer games is a waste of time（浪费时间）, you might as well do something healthful（健康的） and meaningful（有意义的）. I'm only checking some information（核对一些信息）and searching some Learning materials on the internet.
John: I hope I can practice self-control（自制） again.
