A: Do you really think so? My hobby is enjoying the Chinese opera（京剧）.
B: Yes, I do. I just can’t stand(忍受) the sound of gongs and drums(锣鼓声).
A: I won’t argue with you , Alice, but I think you’re being unfair(不公平). Chinese opera has a charm（魅力） of its own and it is well appreciated by both Chinese and foreign music-lovers.
B: Well, I don’t see any point in arguing（争论） this. You have your opinion（意见） and I have mine.
A: George, did you see the show last night?
C：Yes, I did. I thought it was a failure.
A: Oh, come on!(在此为“得了吧”之意) It wasn’t a bad show at all. Didn’t you hear the applause（掌声） from the audience? I think it's wonderful!
C: Well, it may be so. I still think everyone has a right to his own opinion.
