Asian elephants have small ears, two small tusks （象牙） , but female have not. They live in tropical and subtropical( 亚热带 ) forests or grasslands. Asian elephants are strong, social and intelligent. But their vision is bad, their smelling and hearing are very good. Their large ears help them to cool off. They can use their long noses to spray water and dust （掸灰） over their bodies, which also help them cool down. They are going to eat grasses, leaves, fruit and tree bark.
