Saturday
Chen Ping wants to go to the zoo on Saturday morning. He asks Ben and Ben’s sister Janet to go with him. Read and answer the questions.Chen Ping: Hi, Ben. Hi, Janet. Would you like to go to the zoo with me on Saturday morning?
Ben:I’m sorry I can’t. I’ve got a piano lesson. I always have a piano lesson every Saturday morning. Miss Li teaches me.
Chen Ping: Do you like playing the piano?
Ben:No, I don’t like it very much.
Janet:He plays very badly. He never practices. Miss Li is always angry with him.
Chen Ping: Do you like playing the piano?
Janet:Yes, I love it. I practise every day. Saturday is my best day.
Ben:But it’s my worst day! I hate it.
Chen Ping:Well, would you and Janet like to go to the zoo with me in the afternoon?
Ben:Yes, I’d love to, thanks. But Janet can’t. My piano lesson is from eleven to half past twelve, but hers ends after two o’clock. That’s too late.
