3.Language notes
	1.I am from Cambridge. 我来自剑桥。 2.It’s a small city in the east of England. 它是英格兰东部的一个小城。 3.It’s on the River Cam. 它在康河河畔。 “on” 指河流沿线。 4.London is the capital of the UK, with seven million people. 伦敦是英国的首都，有七百万人口。 “with” 此处当 “有”讲。 5. It’s famous for Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. 它以大本钟，白金汉宫和塔桥而闻名。 “be famous for” 表示 “因…而闻名”。 eg. China is famous for the Great Wall. 6. The mountains are about 1,000 metres high. 这些山大约高一千米。 “about” 在此处当 “大约”讲。
