Movies and plays are very popular in the U. S. If you want to see a movie, you can go to a movie theater. A multiplex cinema has five to six screens but a megaplex cinema has more than fifteen screens. Food and drink can be purchased in the lobby of the movie theater and consumed in the theater while watching the movie. Soft drinks and popcorn are traditional refreshments in a movie theater. Hot dogs, candy, and nachos (Mexican corn chips, usually covered with cheese) are also popular.
