About the Moon     

   In one of the ancient Chinese legends, there's a splendid palace on the moon, In side the palace, the beautiful goddess of the moon, Chang Erh, lives with her rabbit.    In America, people think there are a duck, a hawk, and a toad on the moon.

In India, mothers often tell their children that there is a long-ear old man watching them form the moon. The native peoples of Samoa circulate a tale that there's an old spinning-woman living on the moon spinning the yam of clouds in the sky.

     For the Chinese, the moon is beautiful. The round moon means unity andblessedness. In the Moon Festival, all the Chinese, no matter in Taiwan, Australia, Hong Kong, or in Malaysia, will have a reunion with their family to enjoy the warm autumn night.
