Fruits are a part of plants,and they are a food source of animals'. Animals always eat the fruits and excrete the seeds some distance away. Fruits, therefore, make up a significant part of the diets of most cultures. Some fruits, such as tomato, pumpkin and eggplant, are eaten as vegetables.

   Vegetables are also a type of plant. People like eating vegetables. There are root vegetables (such as potatoes and carrots ), leaf vegetables (such as spinach and lettuce ), stem vegetables (such as bamboo shoots and asparagus ), and many herbs and spices are highly-flavorful vegetables.
