    My Ideal House

    　　House is a building where we live and called our home. People can live in houses, flats, apartments or cottages. We know 3 types of houses – terrace houses, semidetached and detached houses. Terrace houses are built in a row with no space between them. Semidetached houses are built as two houses connected together. These types of houses normally have a small garden in the front and bigger garden at the back. A detached house is a completely separate house with a small or big garden in the front and back.
    　　Flats are situated on the floors of a block of flats. There are one-two-free-or four bedroom flats. Most high-rise flats have lifts. Apartments are similar to flats but usually much larger, more modern and sometimes with a porter at the entrance.
    　　We can find cottages in villages or in holiday resorts. People call them country houses or weekend houses because during the weekend they leave their busy town or city to relax in the country.
