Dinosaurs lived on Eart h a long, long time ago. Some walked on the land, some flew in the air and some swam in lakes. Some ate meat and some ate plants. Then they all died. Why? Scientists have a lot of ideas. Here are two of them.

Maybe the Earth became very cold. Plants all died and water became ice. There was no food or water for dinosaurs and they died, too. Maybe a big rock hit the Earth. Plants and trees died. The dinosaurs died, too.
