Kendra is going to Beijing for a business trip and is talking to her colleague David who has been there before.

D: It really depends on how much time you have. Beijing is a very big city with many attraction.
K:I have two days all.
D: Well, you won’t be able to see everything, of course. What were you hoping to do while you’re there?
K: I definitely want to go to The Great Wall.
D: Yes, you shouldn’t miss that. But that will take most of one day. So that only leaves you with one day and the rest of the evening.
K: That’s Ok. It’s one of the most unique and famous places in the whole world.

D: Right. Well, you can ask your travel agent about sightseeing tours that include the wall.
K: What else should I do while I’m there? I have no idea, really.
D: Have you heard about the acrobats? They’re very famous as well, and they put on a great show.
K: Oh, I’d love to see that.
D: The show are in the evening, around 7 p.m., so if you left the Wall early enough, you could fit both of those things into one day.
K: Excellent! I’d also love to see Beijing Opera.
D: Another great idea. They also have shows in the evening, so you could see it the following day.
K:I have heard that The Forbidden City is unforgettable as well. 

D: Unfortunately, while I was there, it was being renovated, and as far as I know, it will not be fully open to the public for quite a while.
K: What a shame!
D: You could go, but don’t expect too much. It’s a wonderful heritage site, but until it reopens, you can’t appreciate it completely.
