Hat or hammer

      Once there is a girl. Her name is Ann and her father is a carpenter(木匠).

Ann’s birthday is coming and she wants a gift from her father. Father

asks:” Ann, what do you want for your birthday?” Ann says:” I want

that red hat in the shop. It’s so beautiful!” But the hat is quite

expensive. So father works hard day and night to earn more money.

Bad thing happens: father’s hammer is broken and he can’t work without it.

Father worries about his hammer and Ann’s birthday gift. Ann says:” Dad,

I change my mind. I want a hammer instead of the hat.” Father is moved

into tears and gives Ann a big hug(拥抱).
