On an April Fools’ Day, in order to make fun of Mark Twain, someone said Mark Twain was dead on a newspaper. As a result, Mark Twain’s connections（亲戚） and friends came from different places to condole（吊丧）.

When they came to Mark Twain’s home, Mark Twain was writing at the desk. His connections and friends was surprised at first, then they all condemned（谴责） the newspaper.

But Mark Twain said calmly（镇定地） and drolly（幽默地）, it’s true to said that I’m dead, just little early.
