Every person on earth may have at least one hobby, and the British and the Americans are no exception（例外）. It can be almost anything a person likes to do in his spare time（闲暇）. Hobbyists（业余爱好者） raise（养） pets, build model ships（船模）, or weave baskets（编篮子）. They watch birds, raise flowers, climb hills, ski, skate, or swim. Hobbyists also paint pictures, attend（参加） concerts, or perform on musical instruments（乐器）. They collect anything, from books to bottles, from shells to stamps.
