Unit6 Lesson21 第一课时

一、概述：

本课是北京市义务教育课程改革实验教材三年级下册Unit6 Lesson21第一课时，本课虽然跟前后课文并没有太大联系也没有太强的话题性，但却要求学生掌握一个非常常用的句型How is he coming?及其答语的应用，还要求掌握us, every, July, afraid四个新单词，并且要学会乘坐交通工具的说法，如：by air, by train等。

二、教学目标：

1，知识与技能目标：

a.能听懂，会说How is he coming?及其答语He is coming by air from Canada,并能在实际情境中应用

b.能听、说、读、写July，every，afraid及代词宾语us。能认读词组by air、by train等，并能进行描述。

c.能正确模仿录音朗读课文。

2，过程与方法：

学生在情境中灵活运用本课句型并能认读Canada，by air，by train等。

3，情感态度价值观：

通过本课学习，学生能够用英语表达乘坐不同的交通工具去不同的地方，增强学生学习英语的兴趣。

三、学生特征分析：

三年级的学生，有一定的英语学习的基础，已经掌握了一定数量的常用单词，对于运用所学用语进行简单的交际有一定的基础，本课主要学习乘坐交通工具的不同表达方法，学生有一定的兴趣。

四、教学重、难点：

重点：

a.能听懂，会说How is he coming?及其答语He is coming by air from Canada,并能在实际情境中应用

b.能听、说、读、写July，every，afraid及代词宾语us。能认读词组by air、by train等，并能进行描述。

c.能正确模仿录音朗读课文。

难点：“害怕…”的表达方式：be afraid of…

五、教学策略设计：

本课主要以“交际为中心”和“教师为主导，学生为主体”的策略，采用师生说、俩俩说及多媒体跟读，图片呈现的方式方法来学习新单词及新句型。

六、教学过程：

1、Warm up（热身）

T: Hi, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Ji.

T: Nice to see you again.

Ss: Nice to see you, too.

2、review（复习）//复习导入环节过渡的稍显不自然，老师可以添加一些过渡语，类似“OK，today we are going to learn new lesson.Before we learn ,let's review some words,do you remember……  ”

T: Let’s review the months.

(show April, May, June, July)

T: The weather is very hot in July

Do you think so?

S1: Yes, I do.

T: Mike’s grandpa is coming to visit Mike’s family in July.

3、presentation（新授）

Step1:

I.S open the Note and study the dialogue by themselves, in the meantime, T gives some questions:

①.Who is coming to visit Mike’s family?

②.When is Mike’s grandpa coming?

③. From where is he coming?

④. How is he coming?

II.Let’s try to read the dialogue follow the note:

First, read it by themselves

Second, study “afraid,from,Canada”.

Third, read them together.

第三遍的时候可以直接邻座两两对话课文内容了

T: Can you introduce the trip about Mike’s grandpa?

(Such as: Mike’s grandpa is coming to visit them in July. He is coming from Canada by air. It’s hot in Beijing, but he is not afraid of hot weather.)
