概念图在初中英语阅读教学中的应用
作为教学策略,主要目的是训练学生的概念构图能力。因为概念图对于学生来说毕竟是比较陌生的学习策略。所以,教师先构思并提供现成的概念图,让学生使用,在使用中训练学生作为新手的概念构图能力。

教学流程如下:
检阅:学生在阅读英文文章之前,先检阅教师所构成的概念构图;
阅读:开始阅读文章本文;
停止:阅读到一个段落先停下来;
寻找:在概念构图上寻找主要概念及细节;
开始:从下一段重新开始。
在应用概念图策略训练学生概念构图能力时,我们主要运用了以下方式:给学生提供完整的概念图,并对图的使用作简要解释。比如:

星状图:
如果阅读任务是关于单一话题或某一主题的内容,可用此图将与话题或主题相关的内容建立联系。
比如,新标准外研版初二英语上册教材中Module 7 Feelings and impressions Unit 2 I feel nervous when I speak Chinese.这篇课文中,
I hope you will recognise me from my photo when I arrive at the airport. I’m quite tall, with short fair hair, and I wear glasses. I’ll wear jeans and a T-shirt for the journey, but I’ll also carry my warm coat. I’ve got your photo -you look so pretty, so I’m sure we’ll find each other.

树形图:
如果阅读任务是涉及到一连串的事件,每一个事件又都有自己的发展结果,可以使用树形图
比如,新标准外研版初二英语上册教材中Module 2 Experience Unit 2 Wei Ming has been all over China by plane. 这篇课文中,
Wei Ming has been all over China by plane. Her father is an Air China captain, so they fly to different places for their holidays.”My favourite place is Mount Tai. But I also like the beaches in Sanya.” Is there anywhere she hasn’t visited? ”I’ve never been to Shanghai!”
Hai Li has been to San Francisco in the USA. His grandparents live there and he visits them every Spring Festival. “I like San Francisco very much because there’s a lot to see and do there. I’m at home in Chinatown!” says Han Li.

So she was thinking of making a daisy chain when suddenly a white rabbit with pink eyes ran by her.

维恩图:

比如,新标准外研版初二英语上册教材中Module 4 Education Unit 2 Project Hope has built many schools.这篇课文中,
Liu Sanzi is an eight-year-old boy from a village in Hunan Province. His parents want him to drop out of school. It’s important for him to work on their farm because there are seven people in Liu’s family and they are very poor.
Li Yinming is 14 and from Zhangxian in Gansu Province. He stopped going to school a few years ago. His parents have been ill and he has to look after them.
