整体认知课文后,把文章三个部分分别用概念图,帮助学生理解文章的篇章结构:
Step 1 The first paragraph
Step2 The second and third paragraphs
Step 3 The fourth paragraph(ask to students to try to dram the thinking map by themselves)
Step 4 The whole passage(help the student to retell the passage)
Step 5 Help the students to think about David’s hobbies
Students can also use the mind map to write about hobbies.

听:能听懂有关爱好的谈话,并从中提取信息
说:能询问他人爱好,并会介绍自己的爱好
读:能读懂关于爱好的文章,并能提取相关的信息,能理解事件发生的顺序
写:能正确运用as well as, such as, as a result等连词,并能通过所学文章结构介绍自己和同学的爱好
学习策略:能够与同学合作,设计并成有关爱好的问卷调查
文化意识:了解不同的人会产生不同的爱好是因为有不同的历史与文化背景
教学重难点
简单句的6种句型是本模块的难点,虽然中考不直接考,但它是提高学生写作的基础,是写句子的重要基础。但对于句子成分,学生感觉难度很大。
