Helen: I’m reading a book.

Sylvia：What’s the name of it?

Helen: The Young Green Consumer Guide by Jone Elkington and Julia Hailes.

Sylvia：What’s it about?

Helen: It’s about the environment. Have you heard of the greenhouse effect?

Sylvia：Of course. The atmosphere keeps in much  of the warmth because of the pollution. That’s the reason why the earth is getting warmer and warner.

Helen: Right. So the book is asking us to become a green consumer.

Sylvia：In what way?

Helen: It says we should only buy and use “environmentally friendly” things. By the way, do you have a shower or a bath every day?

Sylvia：A bath.

Helen: How long does it take?

Sylvia：Half an hour.

Helen: Too much time. The book tells us to have showers instead of baths.

Sylvia：I see. It can save a lot of water.
