Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day comes on the fourth Thursday of November, it is from America. Thanksgiving means praying(祈祷). The people believe there is a god in the world, if they pray sincerely(虔诚）,the god will help them and bless them. Up to today, people in America celebrate this festival. On that day, they have a big dinner; they have turkey and pumpkin pie for dinner. They thank each other at dinner time, parents thank their children for giving them so much happiness, children thank their parents to bring them up and take care of them, and some people thank their friends to give them a lot of help. On that day, people hold a big parade and matches to celebrate it. Many people like to watch them on TV at home.
