A:China is a very large country.It's so big that it's difficult to describe.Perhaps it's easier to compare it to Canada.
B:China has many of the highest mountains in the world.They’re in the west of the country,as they are in Canada,but China has more mountains where many great rivers begin.
A:China has two countries to the north,Mongolia and Russia,unlike Canada,which has no countries to its north,but only the Arctic ice and snow.
B:China has fourteen neighbouring countries.Its borders are over 20,000 kilometres long.Canada has only one neighbour,the USA to the south.Both Canadians and Americans speak English,but it’s not so easy for Chinese to talk with their neighbours,even if they live close to the border.
A:Both China and Canada have long rivers and many lakes as well as busy port cities on the Pacific Ocean.China is famous for the third longest river in the world,the Changjiang River,and Canada has the famous Niagara Falls.
B:While it is snowing and freezing in north China on the Chinese-Russian border,people nearly 5,500kilometers south in Hainan can sit on the beach in the sunshine.
A:There is nothing to sit on the beath in winter in Canada!
