Liu Xiang―― “The Yellow Bullet（子弹）”

Lots of people have heroes or heroines. So do I. And I think he’s not only（不仅） my hero, but also（而且） the hero for our Chinese people. That is Liu Xiang,"The Yellow Bullet".

Liu is 21 yeas old. He’s handsome and tall.He's 6 feet 2. And he has thick, styled hair. I think everyone will not forget the most exciting moment that Liu Xiang raced to victory in the 110 meters hurdles(110米跨栏比赛） at the Athens Olympics（雅典奥运会） in 2004.

He clocked 12.91 seconds to equal the world record（以12.91的成绩刷新了世界记录） and became the first Chinese man to win a gold medal（金牌） in a track and field event （田径比赛）at the Olympics. He makes the history（创造了历史） not only for China, but for Asia（亚洲）and all people who share the same yellow skin color.

Liu Xiang can become so brilliant(显赫的，有才能的） and sucessful(成功的） not for his good luck, but for his great efforts（他的努力付出）.

I feel proud of him and I decide to learn from（向...学习） Liu Xiang.I will work hard and exercise more, and I hope one day I can be a successful athlete like Liu Xiang.
