One morning a countryman is going to his goose's nest. When he is there and sees a yellow and glittering （闪光） egg there.

He takes the egg home. To his delight, he finds that it is a pure gold egg.

Every morning the same thing happened, and he soon becomes rich by selling his eggs.

The countryman becomes more and more greedy. He wants to get all the gold at once, so he kills the goose, when he looks inside, he finds nothing in its body.
