Zebras live in tropical grasslands and sparse( 稀少 ) woods. They gather in large herds （成群） . They have a good sense of vision and hearing, and can run at speeds of up to 64 kilometers per hour. They are going to eat grasses, leaves and twigs （嫩枝） . The stripes （条纹） is going to help zebra for protection from some enemies.





The eyes, ears and nostrils （鼻孔） protrude （凸出） , allowing the Hippo to see and breathe while it is submerging ( 浸没 ) in the water. It lives in deep water. It spends most of the time in the water 。
