“ Ring… ”, the clock sings. Yuanyuan gives a yawn and turns over his body. He says to himself: Sleep one more minute, just one minute and I’ll not be late for school.
After one minute, Yuanyuan gets up. He washes his face quickly, has his breakfast and goes to school. At the crossing, he sees the traffic light is gree, just as he wants to go across, it turns red. He gives a sign, and says to himself:“ It will be better if I start one minute ahead. ”
He waits for a while and cross the crossing. He runs to the bus which stops at the bus station. The bus starts before he can get on it. Again he gives a sign and says to himself. It will be better if I start one minute ahead.
When he gets to school, the bell rings. He sits down his seat with his face red and his head low down. Miss Li says “ Yuanyuan, you are late for 20 minutes today. ”
Yuanyuan regrets very much.
