First of all , let me tell you a bit about myselt . My name’s Paul and I’m 14years old . Every year ,our school arranges trips abroad . I’ve always wanted to go but my parents have always said no . “It’s too ecpensive ,Paul.”they said .This year the school decided to take pupils on a trip to China . The head teacher wrote a letter to our parents ,asking whether we would like to go . I didn’t even show the letter to my parents when I came home ,because I knew they would say no again . I put the letter in my bag and didn't think about it again . Well , My mother must somehow have looked in my bag and shown it to my father . So , can you imagine how surprised I was when my parents asked me whenther I’d like to go to China ! I just couldn’t believe it .

 “ Like to ?”I said . “ I’d absolutely love to , but I didn't think you would let me .”

 “ Well , Paul ,” they said , “ it’s such a good chance . We think you should go .”
