Last Sunday, my mom took me to the zoo. When we arrived at the zoo in the morning, lots of people had waited there. At 8:00, the gatekeeper opened the gate, and we all rushed in. 
   There were hundreds of rare animals in the zoo. Mom took me to the see the tiger first. In a big iron cage, two northeast tigers were sleeping. One was young, and the other was old. They didn't look fierce at all. Then we went to see the gorillas. They were quite clever, but I didn't like them because they were rather ugly. My favorite animal is giraffe. They have long necks, and they are very tall.Unfortunately, I didn't see lots of giraffes. There was just one weak and thin giraffe in the zoo. I also saw strong lions , large elephants and many other interesting animals. I was very glad to see them.
     In a word, I had a good time that day.
