J: I know you are 90 years old, how do you feel about the change of China?
O: The change is so big. It can be seen just from the living standard. Before, we lived in a bungalow, wore the rough cloth and had nothing to eat. But now we can live in the buildings, wear the beautiful cloth and have many kinds of food. You look back 20 years, you mustn’t know how hard the life was before. 
J: Because I often listened to my grandfather talking about the things when he was young. So you must experience a lot.
O: 60 years is not easy for the achievements of today. I saw the motherland stronger and stronger with my eyes. 
J: Yeah, I believe it will develop better and better. 
O: I am glad that I have the chance to see the 60-year anniversary celebration of China.
