The Perfect Holiday

Where would you travel for the perfect holiday? Would you be interested in the capital, Beijing? You could see a lot of places that are important in Chinese history, do a lot of shopping and take photographs（照片） on the Great Wall. Or you could choose Shandong and climb Mount Tai. They sayif you climb to the top, you will live to be a hundred! The views are fantastic（绝妙的） and there are plenty of places to stop to eat if you feel tired.

    Perhaps you would like to see Suzhou. Everyone says it is very beautiful with its gardens and water.

    You would have a good time in Guilin, sailing down the Li River, looking at the green countryside and enjoying the local food.

    Hainan is not far away with beaches and seafood to make you happy. Hong Kong would be exciting with its famous harbour and thousands of good shops. For many people the best place for a holiday is Disney World. You can really use your imagination（想象） there as you walk through the different areas with their different themes.

    A visit to the pandas in Chengdu would be very interesting, or imagine seeing the mountains of Tibet rising high into the sky. The deserts of the Silk Road would be like a dream, too.

     What about outside China? Would you like to visit the perfect islands of Hawaii, see the colourful fish, swim in the blue sea and sail from island to island? Perhaps you'd like more entertainment（娱乐）.

    There is one unusual（不同寻常的） place I would like to see. That is the South Pole. It would be fantastic to see all the snow and ice and whales and sea animals. I would never forget it! We would sail round the ice in a beautiful ship with a lot of good food and entertainment. It would be perfect.

    I'd also like to see the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai on the Persian Gulf. Can you imagine a hotel, 321 metres high, looking like an Arabian sailing boat?
Work hard and one day you can travel to these wonderful places.
