Favorite Festival

Jim: Hello, Li lei. Which is your favorite festival?
Li Lei: Oh, it’s Spring Festival.
Jim: Why do you like it?
Li Lei: Because during Spring Festival I can get lots of gifts from my parents. And our big family can get together to celebrate this important festival. All family members eat dinner together. The meal is more luxurious than usual. I like dishes such as chicken, fish, beef and so on. I will go to visit my grandpa and grandma with mum and dad, and I can get red packets, too.
Jim: Great. I would like to spend my winter holiday in china for Chinese Spring Festival next year.
Li Lei: I am looking forward to your visiting China, Jim. And which is your favorite festival?
Jim: I love Christmas best.
Li Lei: Why?
Jim: Christmas is a holiday of joy and share. Families and friends get together for sharing a big feast, sit by the fireplace, or decorate the Christmas tree together. The most important is that I can get more gifts from Santa Claus.
Li Lei: Oh, Chinese Spring Festival and American Christmas are the same in many ways. I love Christmas, too.
