Fire Department: Dial 119

You don't need to insert coins to make an emergency call from a public telephone.  Just lift the receiver and push the emergency button.

If you discover a fire, shout (Fire!) loudly to alert your neighbors.  Call the Fire Department by dialing 119, and calmly tell the operator where the fire occurred, your name and phone number.  To call from a mobile phone or PHS, see the Ambulance Section above.
