The Red Sea is located between the northeast of African and the Arabian Peninsula. It is the youngest sea and the hottest sea, at the same time, it is the saltiest sea in the world. It is very long. From the northwest to the southeast it is more than 1900 kilometers long. The widest place is 306 kilometers. The west of the Red Sea is gulf of Suez. It is connected with Mediterranean through the canal of Suez.
Every year, it is still continuing to extend by the speed of one cent-meter. There are a lot of coral reefs in the Red Sea, but there are a few natural and good harbor .The whole Red Sea average depth is 558 meters and the deepest is 2514 meters. The surface layer water temperature is average 27-32 Celsius degree in August.
