If you want to collect stamps, the following suggestions （建议） are good for you.

1. At the beginning （刚开始） , you should collect as many stamps as you can( 尽可能多的邮票 ) . If you don't want to keep some stamps, you can sell them. Then you can buy new stamps.

2. Maybe you want to collect a certain kind of stamp( 某种特定的邮票 ). It may be stamps from a particular country , or （或者） stamps of a particular kind , for example( 例如 ) stamps with a bird design （鸟的图案） on them . your collecting will be much more interesting .   

3. you can join a group . There is a lot to learn about stamps and other people can help you . Also it is great fun .you will learn which stamps other people are collecting and they will trade( 交易 ) stamps with you too.

4. If you are free, you can go to stamp sales. You can look for （寻找） new ones to add to （添加到） your collection.   

5. If old stamps are not used( 被使用 ) ， they will more expensive than used stamps. If you don't have much money, you can buy used stamps.

6. Sooner or later( 迟早 ), you will find unusual （特别的） stamps. It may be valuable .
