What does the sun send every day? Without the sun, what will happen to the living things on the earth.?

   Life on the earth depends on(依靠) the sun. Day after day we see its light and feel its warmth. But the sun is far away from the earth.The sun is a large star. The earth is very small among its planets. Every day the sun sends out a great deal of heat, but we receive only small part of it, because the sun is so far away from us and its heat loses more of its energy(能量) when it reaches the earth. We also receive a small part of its light. This is enough for the growth of trees, plants and humans.
