Teacher: Today, we are going to talk something about Jupiter. You can ask me any questions about it.
Students: How far is it from Jupiter to the sun?
Teacher: Jupiter is about 480 million miles from the sun. It is so far away in space it takes about 12 years to go around the sun one time!
Students: Wow, how big is Jupiter?
Teacher: The size of Jupiter is more than one-and-one half times as big as all the other planets put together. If the planet Jupiter were hollow, more than 1,300 planet Earths could fit inside.
Students: What’s the temperature on Jupiter?
Teacher: It’s very cold, 250 degrees (Fahrenheit) below zero to be exact, but at the center it is very hot. It is more that 50,000 degrees (Fahrenheit).
Students: If I am 50kg, how heavy will I weigh on Jupiter?
Teacher: If you were standing on the surface of Jupiter, you would weigh more than two-and-one half times more than what you would weigh on the surface of earth. Boys and girls, you can count by yourselves.
