There is car race near our town(城镇) every year. In 1995, there was a very big car race. There were hundreds of(数以百计) people there. My wife(妻子/ and I were at the race. My friends were there, too. You can see us in the crowd(人群). We are standing on the left.

    There were twenty cars in the race. There were English cars, French cars, American cars and Japanese(日本) cars.

   It was an exciting(令人激动的) finish.The winner (获胜者) was Billy Stwart. He was in car number fifteen. Five  other car were just(恰好) behind(在….后面) him.
