Betty: Good morning, everybody!
Friends: Hi, Betty!
Betty: Wow! You look taller, Ann!
Ann: Yes, last year, I was 135 cm tall. Now I’m 140 cm tall.
Peter: And I’m stronger now. Last year, I only did 12 pull-ups. Now I can do 26.
Betty: That’s great, Peter! You look stronger now. Oh, here comes Mary. Hello, Mary!
Mary: Hello, everybody!
Peter: Mary, you look strong, too.
Mary: Do I? Well, I ran every day during the holidays. Last year, I ran 100 meters in 18 seconds. Now I can do it in 15 seconds. I’m faster now.
Ann: And you look lighter, John.
John: Yes, I was 55 kg. Now I’m lighter. I exercised every day, and I swam a lot, too.
Bill: Hi, everybody! How are you?
Betty: Bill?
Bill: I know… I’m heavier than before. I ate a lot and didn’t exercise at all during the holidays. I’m also slower now. I was almost late this morning! -
