    A: Look, what a lovely dog! 
    B: You like it? There is nothing I like less than a dog(我最不喜欢狗了). 
    A: I think a dog is one of the best pets（宠物）. It is a good guard（警卫）. And it can entertain（娱乐） you. 
    B: Oh, no! I have been afraid of（害怕） dogs since I was a child. I think they are frightening（令人恐惧的）. 
    A: You must be wrong. Dogs are the best friends of human beings（人类）. They are very obedient（驯服的）. 
    B: Maybe. But I prefer to have a cat. 
    A: The last thing I would like is cat（我最不喜欢猫了）. They are dirty and lazy（懒惰）. You never expect（期盼） a pet cat to catch a mouse. 
    B: But they are gentle（温柔的） and pretty（可爱的）. 
    A: You see. We can't persuade（说服） each other. Then you can have a cat as a pet. I'll have a dog.
