                           Britain

The British people, in my opinion, are not so concerned ( 关心 ) about their lunch during (在 .. 期间) the working days. But some families will make the Sunday lunch on weekend. It is a formal ( 正式的 ) meal. It's main dish is usually chicken or beef or lamb, toasted potato , accompanied by (配有) carrots and some vegetables. After meals, they usually have desserts, such as puddings, cakes, or ice cream. After the main course, usually, the dishes need to be put away at once. Then the table will be laid again for the dessert course.

British people work from Monday to Friday. They won't work at the weekends. If they need to work at the weekends, they will be paid double (双倍) . British people mostly are spiritual and energetic (精力充沛) when working. After work, they like to go to pubs (酒吧) to drink beer. They usually have a vacation (假期) of several weeks. They like to go out traveling to spend their vacation.

The pupils and the students go to school from 9 Am to3 PM. After class, they have a lot of activities, such as singing , dancing, sports, camping. They can develop their own ability according to their own interests. Therefore (所以) , the children are usually creative ( 有创造性的 ) and bold (大胆的) and active in taking part in different kinds of activities. The children have a good sense of music.
British people usually shake hands the first time they meet, and in formal meetings. Family members and good friends kiss when they meet, but men don’t usually kiss other men. In informal situations, people just say “hello” to each other.
