Washington D.C. and New York are big cities on the east coast of the USA. Washington D.C. is the capital of the USA. It’s a big city, but it’s smaller than New York. It located midway along the seaboard of the United States, south of Maryland, north of Virginia and 233 miles south of New York city. And it has a population of 572,000 approximately. The white house is where the presidents and their families lived in. The White House has more than one-hundred-thirty rooms. It also has collections of more than forty-thousand objects. Presidential families often find things in storage that they like when they move in. the White House was closed to visitors after the terrorist attacks on the United States on September eleventh, two-thousand-one.
New York is a busy city. It’s bigger, busier and noiser than Washington D.C. The buildings in New York are taller than the buildings in Washington D.C. You can see the Statue of Liberty in the harbour. The statue was a present from the people of France. It welcomes people to USA. You can go inside the statue and climb up.
Disneyland is very popular nowdays, especially among the young children.The first Disneyland opened in July 1955 in the USA. Since then over 400 million people have visited Disneyland theme parks. Disneyland Hong Kong is the third national theme park after Tokyo and Paris. About 10 million people visit it each year. Disneyland is divided into four different lands: Adventure land has a jungle theme and features Indiana Jones and the Forbidden Eye; Frontier land celebrates the myth of the Wild West; Fantasyland devotes itself to Disney's favorite characters; and Tomorrow land is all about the future.
