教学目标： 1. 引导学生综合运用各地景点及因什么而最著名的词汇：Mount Tai, the warriors, the Mogao Caves，silk，Chinese tea及句型What is …famous for ? It’s famous for …….描述我国某个地市所处位置极其著名景点和景物。

2. 综合运用本单元所学知识并实现适当拓展，帮助学生写文段描述我国的某处景点。

教学重难点：引导学生在前两课学习的基础上，综合运用本单元所学知识并实现适当拓展，帮助学生写文段描述我国的某处景点。

教具准备： 词卡，PPT 幻灯片， 拓展听读材料。

学具： 学生自制单词卡片

教学过程：

Step1: Warming up

有关景点的 英语儿歌

方法：师生有韵律的加动作唱出儿歌。

【设计意图：利用与本课教学内容相关的英语律动，使学生迅速融入到英语学习的氛围之中。并由此引出本课话题.】

Step2: Review ：

A： Where did you go on summer vacation ?

B : I went to Xi’an

A: Where is Xi’an?

B: It’s in Shan’xi province. Hubei is in the south of China.

A: What did you do there ?

B: I went there see the warriors.

A: What’s Xi’an famous for ?

B: It’s famous for the warriors .

方法：创设情境，引出对话，学生认读，师生师范，邻座两两练习，提问展示不同程度的三组学生。

【设计意图：利用ppt出示对话复习前面学过的语句。以利于下面环节的顺利开展。】

Step3: Free talk:

A： Where did you go on summer vacation ?

B : I went to _______

A: Where is _______?

B: It’s in _______province. Hubei is in the _____ of China.

A: What did you do there ?

B: I ______________.

A: What is it famous for ?

B: It’s famous for _______

方法： 结合PPT 支架利用书上的图片提供的一个情境做更广泛的对话练习，师生师范，两两交际，展示三组。

过渡语：Open your book Lesson 3 Part A listen, read, and think What are these places ? Where are they ? Write the places .

Step4: 新授自主听读：

( 1. )听 Part A 录音。 感知，跟读。 找学生读并试着写出每段话所描述地点的名称。。

( 2.) Play a guessing game ：

A:What place is it ?

B: Guess. It’s in the west of China。

A: What’s it famous for ?

B: It’s famous for the warriors .

A: I know .It’s Xi’an, right ?

B: Yes.

方法：ppt 出示对话，师生问答猜测，然后生生练习，换地点操练，展示。

过渡语 ： This is Xi’an ,What about other places ? Guess them with your friends.

Step5: 自主对话：

A:What place is it ?

B: Guess. It’s in the _______ of China。

A: What’s it famous for ?

B: It’s famous for the _______ .

A: I know .It’s _______, right ?

B: No/ Yes.

方法：师生示范，生生交际，自由操练，展示。

【设计意图：围绕本单元某地因什么景点而著名的教学重点设计猜地点的游戏，意在创设更为丰富的交际形式，提升学生说的能力。】

Step6: 拓展听读：自编听读材料：Reading 4， 6， 7.

【设计意图：为学生提供丰富的与本单元重点相符合的听读材料，适合不同层次学生对知识的巩固和提高。】

Step7: Show and say :

This is a photo of the Stone Forest. It’s in Yunnan province. Yunnan is in the south of China.

方法： 学生拿自己准备的图片，Show and say .

【设计理念：Show and say . 用描述的方式表达自己所学的语句，提高学生说的能力，并且体现用英语来做事情的新课标理念。】
