教学目标：1. 学生会说，会写，各地景点及因什么而最著名的词汇：Mount Tai, the warriors, the Mogao Caves，silk，Chinese tea等。

2. 学生能运用上述词汇及本课句型What is …famous for ? It’s famous for …….和搭档进行交流。

教学重难点：新词组的记忆及正确表达某地以何景点著名及其大致所在位置。教具准备： 词卡，PPT 幻灯片， 拓展听读材料。

学具： 学生自制单词卡片

教学过程：

Step1: Warming up

有关景点的 英语儿歌

方法：师生有韵律的加动作唱出儿歌。

【设计意图：利用与本课教学内容相关的英语律动，使学生迅速融入到英语学习的氛围之中。并由此引出本课话题.】

Step2: Review ：

A： Where did you go on summer vacation ?

B : I went to Wuhan

A: Where is Wuhan ?

B: It’s in Hubei province. Hubei is in the south of China.

A: What did you do there ?

B: I went to parks and took some pictures.

方法：创设情境，引出对话，学生认读，师生师范，邻座两两练习，提问展示不同程度的三组学生。

【设计意图：利用ppt出示对话复习前面学过的语句。以利于下面环节的顺利开展。】

Step3: Free talk:

A： Where did you go on summer vacation ?

B : I went to _______

A: Where is ______

B: It’s in ________ province. ______is in the _____ of China.

A: What did you do there ?

B: I ___________

方法： 结合PPT 支架利用书上的图片提供的一个情境做更广泛的对话练习，师生师范，两两交际，展示三组。

过渡语：Open your book Lesson 2 Part A listen, read, and think What are these places ? Where are they ?

Step4: 新授自主听读：

( 1. )听 Part A 录音。 感知，跟读。 找学生读并试着说出本课新词组。

( 2.) 师生示范句子：A:What’s there to see in China ?

B: There ‘s Xi’an 。

A: What’s Xi’an famous for ?

B: It’s famous for the warriors .然后生生练习对话。

过渡语 ： This is Xi’an ,What about other places ? Talk about them with your friends.

Step5: 自主对话：

A: Hi, I’m …..from ……

B: I’m …… Nice to meet you .

A: Nice to meet you too. I want to see more of China .What’s there to see in China ? B: There ‘s Xi’an 。

A: What’s Xi’an famous for ?

B: It’s famous for the warriors .

方法：师生示范，生生交际，自由操练，展示。

【设计意图：围绕本单元某地因什么景点而著名的教学重点设计相关的话题，创设更为丰富的交际情境。即融进以前见面打招呼的语句体现了滚雪球的理念。】

Step6: 拓展听读：自编听读材料：Reading1， 2， 3, 5.

【设计意图：为学生提供丰富的与本单元重点相符合的听读材料，适合不同层次学生对知识的巩固和提高。】

Step7: 综合 拓展交际：

A： Where did you go on summer vacation ?

B : I went to _______

A: Where is ______

B: It’s in ________ province. ______is in the _____ of China.

A: What did you do there ?

B: I ___________

A: What’s there to see in China ?

B: There ‘s ________ 。

A: What’s ________ famous for ?

B: It’s famous for __________.

方法：教师引导认读，师生交际，生生交际。

【设计意图：结合拓展听读所获取的词句，再利用书上综合图提供的一个情境做更广泛更丰富的对话练习，注重听说，强调知识的综合运用，强调言语交际为中心。】

Step8: Show and see :

A: Welcome to _______ B: What’s it famous for ? A: It’s famous for ______

B: Where is it ? A: It’s in _________.

方法： 学生拿自己准备的综合图，Say and act .

【设计理念：Say and act . 用交际的方式汇报自己所学的语句，提高学生说的能力，并且体现用英语来做事情的新课标理念。】
