一、歌曲热身，游戏激趣。

1、Greeting and warm up

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Gao.

T: Nice to see you!

Ss: Nice to see you, too!

T: How are you?

Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?

T: Fine, thank you. Are you ready for English class?

Ss: Yes.

T: Let’s sing a song “Head, Shoulders” OK?

Ss: OK!

T: Put your chair under your desk.

师生齐唱歌曲。

2、Fast Action游戏

T: Let’s play a game, Fast Action. When you hear animal’s name, clap your hands once. Understand?

Ss: Yes.

T: cat, dog, book…animal, animal world. Today we’ll continue to learn animals. Let’s go into Animal World. Please watch TV.

二、视频导入，创设情境，复习对话。

1. 观看动物世界的视频，为学生创设真实情境。

2. ppt出示动物图片和对话，师生示范对话。

T: What animals did you see at Animal World?

S1: I saw crocodiles.

T: What kind of animal are crocodiles?

S1: They are reptiles.

S2: What animals did you see at Animal World?

T: I saw crocodiles.

S2: What kind of animal are crocodiles?

T: They are reptiles.

3. 生生选择图片对话练习。

4. 检测。

（设计意图：通过播放动物世界的小短片为学生创设真实情景，在情景之中操练对话，复习动物名称和动物种类，为下一步学习做铺垫。）

三、新授

1、ppt导入：T：On weekends, I go to Beijing Zoo. It’s the the biggest zoo in China. There are many animals in the zoo. Look！This is me. This is a giraffe. It has a long neck. This is a zebra. It’s black and white. And this is a small panda. It is playing on the wooden bridge.

（设计意图：通过真实的照片为学生创设在动物园的真实情景，自然的引出动物园地图。）

2、ppt出示动物园方位图，师引导生描述图片。This is insect world. It’s in the north of the zoo. We can see butterflies. This is .…

3、自主听读reading 1，3和书中Part B对话。

4、ppt提供对话支架，师生示范对话。对话内容是什么呢？

5、生生自由练习对话。

6、检测。

（设计意图：由听到说，由示范到练习，再到检测，运用了跨越式的教授方法。）

四、拓展听读，丰富知识；综合操练，提高表达能力。

1、生自主听读reading 6和reading 5

2、ppt再次出示动物园地图，生试着用学到的句子描述图片。

（设计意图：逐步从简单的对话过渡到简单的语篇，提高学生综合语言运用能力，同时体现滚雪球的教学理念，使学生灵活运用所学知识。）
